Online Registration Update
2016-17 school year online registration (OLR) was completed for 30,493 returning students. This is up from 29,872 for the 2015-16 school year. Overall, OLR was a success--82% of OLR contacts in schools felt that OLR was more successful this year than last year. Eighty-two percent of OLR contacts agreed or strongly agreed that OLR has made the registration process more efficient for schools, while 18% were neutral. Additionally, over 90% provided positive feedback about OLR training sessions. As for parents, 72% of OLR contacts felt that parents, in general, prefer OLR to paper registration. This is likely due to the fact that with OLR, families verify pre-populated demographic and contact information instead or re-writing the information on a form.
With all the positives, OLR still has room for improvement. The following enhancements are planned for the 2017-18 school year:

WAIT. WHAT?
Dear Data Diva, I am constantly needing to pull data reports for people. I wish I had the time to create all these reports, but I don’t. There has to be a better way to get this information instead of recreating the wheel every time. Can you help me out? --Drowning in Data Requests
Dear Drowning in Data Requests,
Before creating a new report check out the reporting services area in Infinite Campus. You will find the link to Reporting Services in the Index list when you log in. (You may be asked to re-authenticate with the same username and password you used to log into Infinite Campus.) There are different folders for the different types of reports available. Your existing rights will determine which reports you can see. Take some time and go see what reports are available before creating or requesting a new one.
