District Goals Progress Monitoring: YTD Equity Profile
The 2017-18 (year to date) School Performance and Equity Profile is now available. The data can be viewed by school, network, or level (ES, MS, HS) through filters at the top of the page. You can also toggle between the final 2016-17 profile and the 2017-18 year to date profile with the year filter at the top. The 2017-18 view only contains data points for indicators that we have so far. We will work on adding MAP Growth data in the next few days once that data becomes available. There are 9 tabs and 3 different views: the traditional profile view, view with all race/ethnicity groups, and all schools and groups in a network in one view. Gallup Q12 Employee Engagement Poll: October 23 - November 7
DMPS will be conducting the Gallup Q12 Employee Engagement Poll from October 23 through November 7. All staff will receive a pre-survey email from Gallup on October 16. Staff can access the survey via the link in the email from Gallup on October 24 or by visiting https://gx.gallup.com/desmoinesq12.gx. and entering their employee ID number as their access code. Administration logistics and FAQ are located here. |
Gallup Student Poll: September 25 - October 27
Our district will be administering the Gallup Student Poll again this fall to students in grades 5-12 from September 25 to October 27. Measuring the hope of engagement of students fits directly into our collective work around Cultural Proficiency and School For Rigor. Through these efforts, we are intentionally creating conditions necessary for ALL students to engage with meaningful and challenging content under the support and guidance of adults who care for and understand their needs as a learner and individual. Administration logistics and FAQ are located here. Online Registration
33,375 students registered for the 2017-18 school year via Infinite Campus online registration. That's up 10% from the 2016-17 school year. District Performance and Equity Profile
The District Performance and Equity Profile provides a review of a variety of data points from the previous school year and highlight the growth being made by students at all grade levels. The indicators in the report are aligned to the district equity plan and focus on three areas: learning, belonging, and thriving. MAP Growth Reports for Parents
Schools may choose to share the MAP Growth student scores with families at fall conferences if they wish. We will require schools to share the student progress report at spring conferences. Additional resources for parents are located here. Reminder: MAP Growth scores will show on the Portal in the next few days, after they are loaded into Infinite Campus. |
