Conducting Research in Des Moines Public Schools:
(DMPS Employees, Students, & External Researchers)

The DMPS Assessment, Data, and Evaluation office reviews all internal and external requests to conduct research in the district. All applicants must complete the research application before approval. 
*Expect up to 2 weeks to process your request*

Completed Executive Summaries for approved projects should be sent to [email protected].

Who Should Complete this Form?
  • Current DMPS Employees conducting research of any type at DMPS
    • This includes research required by coursework (ex: BLUE/PURPLE/GREEN Contract Capstone), but is not limited to it.
  • External researchers who wish to use DMPS data in a research study.​
