Conducting Research in Des Moines Public Schools:
(External Researchers & DMPS Employees)

The DMPS Assessment, Data, and Evaluation office reviews all internal and external requests to conduct research in the district. All applicants must complete the research application before approval. 

Who Should Complete this Form?

• Current DMPS Employees conducting research of any type at DMPS
  • This includes research required by coursework (ex: BLUE Contract Capstone), but is not limited to it.
• External researchers who wish to use DMPS data in a research study.
  • Please be advised that DMPS is only accepting internal research applications at this time. -February 6, 2023
