High Schools: Senior Survey
All graduates need to take the senior survey, as some of the questions are required for state reporting. All seniors should have a link to the survey in their Infinite Campus portal account. It is also a part of the senior check-out sheets. Contact Vicky Bennett or your school registrar with any questions. Uncoded Student Absences Report Enhancements
In an effort to assist Office Managers and other building personnel responsible for entering student attendance data, two additional tabs have been added to the Uncoded Student Absences report, Uncoded Over Previous 2 Weeks and Uncoded Over Previous Week. The new tabs focus entirely on the most recent attendance marks--the ones amounting to the larger number of data points in need of being addressed. These charts feature supporting data, which can be accessed by:
August Attendance Trainings
Please share this registration link with anyone who will be responsible for coding attendance in your building via the Attendance Wizard, sending Attendance Letters, using the classroom monitor, etc. Infinite Campus attendance training for building staff is mandatory on an annual basis. Rights to the Attendance module will ONLY be awarded AFTER attending a 1.5 hour class. Please contact Kellie Hanlon with any questions. Continuous Improvement Update

Teachers Can Print Their Own Schedule in Infinite Campus
Here's a helpful FYI: Did you know that teachers can print their own schedule in Infinite Campus? While in the Instruction module, go to reports. In the planner section, click on Teacher Schedule. The schedule can be run for a single term or the whole year.
Click Generate Report. This will create a PDF of the schedule with each course number, course name, if you are the primary or secondary teacher, room number, and the number of students enrolled in the class.

WAIT... WHAT?
Dear Data Dude:
What is Employee Online??? I don't think I've ever logged on...
Sincerely,
Employee Not-Online
Dear Employee Not-Online,
Make it a practice to log into Employee online on a regular basis. This is the place you can see your check stubs, change your address, change your tax withholding status, change your direct deposit, view your W2 and see your future job assignment. Your EO login and password is different from your DMPS login and password. It is never a good idea to use one universal password for all your logins. Keep them separate. I know that seems cumbersome but there are people out there wanting to get hold of the information found in your Employee Online. Also the district will never send you emails asking for your banking information. If you ever receive such an email contact the payroll manager and/or technology help desk to report such emails.
As Always,
Data Dude

I am the ERP Support Specialist for the district. ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning. Our ERP is a PowerSchool product named Business Plus, formerly Sungard IFAS. An ERP is a modular software system designed to integrate the main functional areas of the districts business process into a unified system. I have been with DMPS nearly 12 years working with Business Plus/IFAS, supporting the Finance, Payroll, HR, Employee Online, Purchasing and Central stores modules of Business Plus. Two areas where I spend considerable time is report writing and workflow development. Currently we have 76 workflows set up to either approve transactions, send reports, notify of data changes, run utilities, change passwords, and create new users in the system. We have 12 data imports from Business Plus used to populate software programs outside of the ERP such as Benefit Focus, Infinite Campus, FIM, Frontline, LSI, and M-Files. I support Business Plus dashboard users. There are 200+ Dashboard users. All staff are Employee online users so all employees in the district are part of the ERP in some way.
When not working at DMPS I like to ride my bike. I try to ride three good rides a week, April to October. Plus I am getting back into photography after buying a new digital SLR camera and am having fun learning how to use it.
